Rising Stars Taekwondo Master

TaeKwon-Do Grand Master Cees (pronounced “Case”) Keukens.
Grand Master Cees Keukens has been a dedicated martial arts practitioner and trainer in the Netherlands and Canada for over 52 years.
A Dutch National Champion, German Open Champion, Canadian National Exhibition Grand Champion, 4 times ITF World Championships Silver Medalist, and all-round World Champion with 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze, Grand Master Cees was honored with numerous recognition and achievement awards. He was inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 1993.
For 14 years, he collaborated with the late Korean Grand Master Park Jong Soo, teaching across the Greater Toronto region and later founding and establishing his own martial arts club. Since 1974, he has been coaching and leading Canadian TKD teams and gifted individuals to victory in the international arena. These include World Champions Didy Lapre, Michael Cormack, Stephen Ramkalawan, Darren McGuirre, Duane Plata and WT PamAm Champion Wilfred Marcano.
Honors and Recognitions
- 1978, 1980, 1983 and 1984 – Recipient of the Ontario Achievement Award for Outstanding Athlete in his field
- 1993 – Inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame
- 2021 – Awarded the honor of Grand Master by ITF Korea Headquarters
Our Assistant Instructors

Mr. Justin Baney began practicing TaeKwonDo in 1999 at the age of 13 to get into better shape. And in doing so, it has given him the discipline to focus and perform well in school. Mr. Baney is currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at The University of Toronto.
Mr. Baney holds a 2nd degree black belt in TaeKwonDo and is currently pursuing a black belt in Jui Jitsu.
